Today we head to Dijon France but our train is not leaving until 2:35 this afternoon so we decided to go to Harder Kulm. The journey from Interlaken to the Harder Kulm, Interlaken’s local mountain, takes ten minutes by cable car.
The restaurant looks like a small castle, and it is located 1,322 metres above sea level. We brought a ticket that included lunch and actually for Switzerland standards was good value.
From the top you get a magnificent view of Interlaken and the Jungfrau. Have a look at the Interlaken gallery for some of the photos.
We had an early lunch to give us plenty of time to get back down the mountain and to the train station for the next section of our journey, Dijon France.
I kept an eye on the speed as we zoomed through the Swiss/French countryside and we topped 318km/hr that is seriously moving. We had to change trains at Basel need the French border for the last leg.
We arrived in Dijon at about 6pm and checked into our accomodation. Very nice, it is situated right in the centre of the old part of town. Di particularly likes it because it has a bath,

We went for a walk to try and find somewhere to eat dinner and decided to eat at a restaurant right in the main square. It was very nice, Di had Beef Bourguignon and I had steak with Dijon mustard sauce naturally.
Walked home to retire for the night. Tomorrow we will just take it easy and explore the town on foot.
