Just thought that we should drop a note to everyone and thank you all for the farewell parties and good wishes we will miss you all terribly. I must send out a special “Thank You” to Danielle for her professional suitcase packing skills, who would have known that you could fit so much into so small a space.

After a lovely breakfast with Dannielle, Max, Jaimie and the girls at the Terrarium in Maudsland we took the 11am train to the airport. Our plane leaves at t 3:40pm today first stop …….. Adelaide (yeah I know a bit of an anti climax). A few hours wait then off to Doha, a few more hours wait and then the last leg to Rome.  The weather in Rome is supposed to be partly sunny and around 19, not too bad considering we are going into winter.

Di kept it together for most of the farewell only shedding a few tears. It was nice to see the Harris’s, Stella and Mauz there to see us off too as well as the family of course.

I am so proud of you two. No place to call home … Well almost!
A sentence I recently read: A person with few possessions is not impoverished, but a person who constantly desires more IS! Stay content … Stay rich xx

  • Plans finally have reached fruition. I look forward to keeping up with your life in Italy

  • Hope you both have a great time. See you soon.

ALL the best and stay safe. Have a blast, grow in leaps and bounds and embrace all that each day has.
