We Have a Departure Date

Well we have just come back from a visit to Flight Centre to purchase our ONE WAY tickets to Rome. It’s all a bit scary as we still don’t really know where we are going to live yet, it’s fly by the seat of your pants stuff at the moment. Anyway our official departure date is the 2nd of November so at least we have a date to work to, I’m sure the time will FLY by (put that one in for you Dion).

We have so much to do before we leave. We need to put the stuff collected over all the years into storage, organise somewhere to live when we get over there, and I must remember to learn Italian.  We want to be as self sufficient as possible so I need to make sure I can continue to work. Still a bit of a scary thought though heading over to the other side of the world with all your worldly possessions stuffed into one bag. 

We really hope that we can find a congregation where there is a real need and we are so looking forward to meeting the friends and helping out where we can.
